Preschool

 

Breakfast Club

 

Breakfast Club runs Monday to Friday 7.45 am until 9 am when the children will go into their normal session.  Children who go to Scott Broadwood School will be walked to school at 8.50 am.  Breakfast is provided.

After School Club

After School Club runs from the end of the afternoon Preschool session until 5pm. Scott Broadwood School children will be brought over to the Preschool at the end of their school day at 3pm.  We provide a variety of age appropriate games and activities and a light tea.

 

Woodland Sessions

 

Capel Preschool offer the opportunity for children to experience our local woodland during our weekly timetable.  This gives children the unique opportunity of experiencing first hand, play and learning in a controlled outdoor environment.  This work will support the main learning areas and will have a strong emphasis on raising all children’s self-esteem and independence.

 

An integral part of the woodland experience is that children experience the outdoors in all weathers.  With the exception of very high winds and thunder storms, your child will be outside when they take part in woodland sessions.  To help achieve this we ask all children to bring a waterproof coat and waterproof trousers for woodland sessions.  They will also need wellington or walking boots, and on sunny days, a sun hat and sun cream; on colder days, warm clothing.  Please bear in mind your child could possibly get muddy!
